Pooja told me she had always wanted to have a big Indian wedding in Auckland. I love a Bride that knows what she wants! I photographed two days of prayers, rituals, ceremonies and celebrations before Pooja and Nayan’s traditional Hindu wedding. All of it was totally AWESOME! Day one included prayers to Lord Ganesha, and Pooja’s turmeric and Satak ceremonies. Day two was an evening event with Pooja’s mosaru, and Pooja and Nayan’s Sangeet. Up first is day one…

Pooja and Nayan’s Indian wedding in Auckland was a fantastic to be a part of. After two days of pre-weddings events, photographing their traditional Hindu wedding was a lot of fun.
