Malak & Troy Tied the Knot at The Hunting Lodge in Waimauku, near Auckland
OMG! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE shooting silhouettes! This one I shot at Malak and Troy’s wedding at the Hunting Lodge, near Auckland in Waimauku, is my absolute fave photo from their flippin’ fantastic wedding day. When I went to the Hunting Lodge a few days before their wedding to location check and scout out a bunch of cool photo spots, I found this location and thought, I can do something really, really creative and epic here. On their wedding day, Malak and Troy were totally fab when it came to leaving their reception for few minutes so I could shoot this and create something arty and edgy for them.
This super sweet couple tied the knot on a brilliant, blue sky day at The Hunting Lodge Winery in Waimauku near Auckland. With rows of grape vines as a backdrop, they were married in front of their family and close friends.
Malak and Troy are totally loved up and make each other so happy. That has certainly come through in their wedding photos. I loved being part of’their wedding day. It was all about love, family, friends and having a totally fab time. That’s my kinda wedding!
The Hunting Lodge is a super gorgeous wedding venue. The service is top notch and the food is absolutely delish! I know a lot of wedding photographers in Auckland that love shooting weddings there.
