When I first met up with Erin and Joe, they told me all about their plans to have a garden wedding at Alberton, an historic house in Auckland. I clicked with this super sweet couple straight away. I lapped up everything they told me about their wedding plans and I knew this was one I was going to have a blast photographing. I was super excited hearing about how they were both going to wear Converse sneakers on their big day. How flippin’ cool is that?! Joe was having a kilt and jacket made. And all of the food at their reception would be vegan. Erin and Joe are my kind of couple, that’s for sure. They’re individuals and they did their wedding their way. It was a perfect Spring day for a garden wedding on the steps of Alberton House. Joe was all smiles when Erin arrived looking so beautiful. Their celebrant Yvette conducted a wonderful ceremony that was personal and meaningful. Emotions were running high after Erin and Joe said their i dos. There were lots of smiles, big hugs, mixing, mingling and celebrating. The dance floor was outside in front of Alberton House. What a fabulous spot to dance the night away.
