Indian Wedding Photography in Wellington – Fabulous & Fantastic – A Wedding Photographer’s Dream
I’m an Auckland based wedding photographer so I was totally up for getting out of town to photograph Jayna and Tarun’s Indian wedding in Wellington. Their traditional Hindu wedding ceremony was held at the Wellington Indian Association hall in Kilbirnie.
We started the day nice and early with a first look and location shoot at Oriental Bay. Look at these two! They look like royalty in their super stylish Indian wedding outfits.
Location. Location. Location.
Location scouting to find out of the ordinary places to photograph couples with their bridesmaids and groomsmen is a big part of my preparation for shooting a wedding. I’m really into looking for spots that are unusual that will make for interesting backdrops. Couples often tell me they don’t want to do their location shoot where everyone else does because they want their photos to be personal and unique.
